In this section, we bring you beautiful poetry!
Writing is like art: it's not just about what it says, but about how it feels. Today's contribution is from Kate, an MA student in History at Stellenbosch university, Western Cape. May you be moved.
A Thousand Answers
By: Kate Steinke Oh, for a thousand answers That I beg from thee every day. If thou would tell me, Lord, What to seek and what to pray, What to pick up, what to lose. But in everything I do, to whom I serve You say, simply, “Choose.” Lord, I find not my peace in answers, Nor will it by circumstances bare. Instead, the God who made me, breath by breath, and hair by hair, Alone will place it there. And even when I cannot see, I have praise for naught but Thee, And thus I turn my face to eternity.
